Why Jan, we're not old. We've just reached a refined level of maturity.

04/16/09 02:47 PM #111

Jan Holt (Hennage)

Agreed...most of the time, I still feel relatively young anyway. And, just remember...we're much smarter now!

Brad Huffman

And, just remember...we're much smarter now! Oh now you're just being silly. Or did you mean sneakier?

04/16/09 03:42 PM #113

Jan Holt (Hennage)

Not too much.
Today we had no drunken pigs vomiting or letting Barbie have it.
We'll save the good stuff for Friday happy hour forum.

Gary...what the hell kind of meds are we talking about here?
If there's not enough for everyone, then stop trying to make the rest of us feel left out.

Brad Huffman

Hey now, they just passed out together nothing happened!

04/16/09 03:56 PM #115

Jan Holt (Hennage)

Were you peeking at them? Shame, shame!!

04/16/09 04:40 PM #116

Brad Huffman

You miss them, don't you? Here they are, drunken pigs, and a few you haven't seen.

04/17/09 09:51 AM #117

Jan Holt (Hennage)

One, two, three.....go!!

Nice pigs, Brad. I was going to ask what was up with all the bathing suit tops, but...NOW I get it!

Okay, I'll get this started.

Today's Happy Hour topic: Classmates, Aliens, and Cows

In my circle of friends a bunch of them grew up here in Sillywater, America and graduated high school together. Three of them being my old college roommate Kenny, his wife Cindy, and a mutual friend of ours nicknamed T.O. A few years ago when Kenny, Cindy, and T.O's 30th reunion came around. T.O. couldn't make it because he was working offshore. Well Cindy gets this idea, since T.O. can't make it that her best friend Jill and Jill's husband should go to the reunion in his place. They could just pretend to be Mr. and Mrs. T.O. and no one would be the wiser.

T.O. was voted most changed.

Which naturally leads (in some six degree of seperation sort of way) to the question "Gary? Are you really Gary, or is who we thing is Gary really a member of a intelligent (yet highly medicated) race of alien cows sent here to cause mayhem and mischief?"

Jan Holt (Hennage)

Brad,
Are you implying that all the cows on Gary's profile are actually family photos?

Mark, did notice Robin Trower at the Cain's on June 7?

For those in Dallas, Old Crow Medicine Show at the Granada on May 6.

From his profile it looks like Mr. Wood can tell you all about Wakarusa in June, which has moved from Kansas to up on the pig trail (bacon road?) at Mulberry Mountain, Ark.

Yes, music is one of those HS habits I never gave up.

Brad, & Mark...
Oh, we will most definitely be at Wakarusa @ Mulberry Mnt, AR June 4,5,6!!! Be our 3rd year in a row. Pretty cool, smaller venue to see a lot of music in 4 days "ass deep in music" on 4 stages !!! If you end up going let me know...

Need to get down to T-town to the Cains though, (I think my last show was Todd Rundgren, lol!) Miss the old lady...

Great memories
Kevin

Hi Gary....just letting you know, the oreo cookie cows are called, DUTCH BELT. Named for their country of origin. I feel bad for the females though...those white bands are not very figure flattering!

Kevin, I went to Harvest Festival @ Mulberry two years ago (the only year it hasn't rained). It's a nice spot except for lack of trees (and I think they're are going to screw up the atmosphere with their VIP camping and seating).

Last time I was at the Cain's was for Sam Bush in Jan, but the Brady was back in the 90's for CSN. Both killer shows though!

Wait a minute, you live in MO, Big Smith country.

Have you ever hit Winfield?

04/19/09 02:53 PM #129

Kevin Wood

Had not been to Winfield, although I have wanted to...

(have been there just not for the bluegrass fest, just to play ball.)

Laurie wanted us to go to "Dogstock" (also in KS) but for the same reasons we wont miss Clinton SP for Wakarusa, we will pass. If I add a 2nd festival it might be 10k Lakes or perhaps Bonnaroo (but not the Phish one this year!).

Wakarusa promises to be a much smaller affair than last year, on smaller grounds and more intimate setting and definitely less walking! We are camping adjacent to the concert venues this year. It is a blast though! Big Smith will be there, as well as the Black Crowes!

Has everyone become shy all of a sudden?
It's awfully quiet around here.....
zzzzzzzzzz

04/21/09 04:30 PM #132

Busy week :-( Besides, I'm laying low so Susan doesn't get the idea of posting the other Stevenson homeroom class picture (the one with my dorky mug in it).

04/21/09 06:38 PM #133

Susan Sibley (Cox)

Ok brad, just give me a few days to find it!
