Thank you for updating us with this very sad news. I remember Debbie very well - she was a good person. My heart is heavy, and my thoughts go out to her loved ones.
Classmates, at our picnic Alan Thompson set out donation buckets and we all appreciate the generosity of everyone. Being as most all of us donated our time, food and BBQ expertise (if you will), we have a small amount of money left over from the picnic. I have spoken to Alan, Kevin Woods and Koz and all are in agreement that we should take these funds and do something for Debbies girls such as a locket or bracelet or such with a card from Tulsa Memorial Class of 79.
Alan's travel schedule will not permit him to make these arrangements and I have a 14 day business trip leaving Friday morning. I am asking someone who has a few hours to contact Alan and make these arrangements. Please help....
I have sent a note to Alan per your post. I still see Debbie's brother, Rob on a regular basis and could easily deliver a package to him from our class.
However, if anyone else feels strongly that they'd like to do this for Debbie, please let me know and I'll step aside.
Mike, that sounds great. I could help if it fits in my with my work. I am at the mall Monday nights and Wed. Maybe check with Gary about looking with you. Great idea. I think the girls would love something like that.
Kathy, How is your hubby? I hope everything is going well. How fortunate you found out early and it can be treated. Keep us posted. It was good seeing you at the reunion.
He's doing fine. He has his surgery Aug 10...still having very bad headaches. I feel so bad for him. Hopefully the surgery will relieve some of his pain. I wish you could have met him, he's a really special person, a great father and of coarse an amazing husband. I just love him to pieces!

I cannot believe that about your husband. I am so sorry and will keep him in my thoughts and prayers as well for a quick recovery. Be sure and keep us updated and I hope he gets a lot of rest and TLC from you (which I'm sure he will!!) Take care girl and know we are thinking of you guys.
If you can, and want to, meet at Cosmo's Sat around 8. I know there arelots of us in town and thought it would be fun to get together every month. I will be there around 9. Have to close the store first but its at the mall so close by. See you then.
I didn't get to go to the Saturday night event of the reunion and I haven't seen many pics posted....I have seen some but not many. Does anyone have some they can post?
