Thank you, Kevin. I forgot to get an envelope - don't think it might have been the wine ...

Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

This is a real puzzler.....

Can you solve this puzzle?

You are riding on a beautiful white horse.

On your left side is a drop off.

On your right side are several ostriches being chased by a lion.

In front of you are four large gazelles that won't get out of your way and you can't seem to overtake them.

Behind you is a stampede of horses.

What must you do to get out of this highly dangerous situation?

For the answer scroll down.

Great reunion!!! I had so much fun. Let's do this again in five years. To all those that were on the committee -- Good job! Kevin, thanks for the website it made all the difference in getting people reconnected. Brad Huffman thanks for all the pictures, you too Kathy! I had a great time on Saturday night sitting at the table with Laura, Betsy, Kathy and their hubby's.

I can't express how much fun I had over the entire weekend ... from Thursday night to Sunday night. Thanks to all that made it possible ... with the organized reunion events as well as the impromptu get-togethers. I'll be watching all the different sites for photos. Thanx for the posts.

See you in five years (at least)!

d.

P.s.: sorry about the progressively "fuzzy" pictures from Thursday night ... I had a bit *too* much fun. ;-P

Just want to add my voice to the rest. This was a great event in every way. What really amazed me was how comfortable it was to talk to people who didn't happen to be in the particular group I hung out with in high school. That says a lot about our graduating class and the type of people we've become.

Kudos to everyone who worked on the reunion. And my hat is off to Gary and the rest of the folks who cooked at the BBQ. Damn that meat was good. Almost enough to make me want to leave California and go back to the south. Okay, maybe not. But it was the best I've had in quite a while.

Didn't get as many pictures as I should have. But here are a few, including some from the Masque & Gavel get together.

To EVERYONE that made this Reunion a success :
Thank You for all your hard work! Every event was a blast, and will forever be an awesome memory for me! I cannot tell you how great it was to see and talk to people that I haven't in decades... it really makes me appreciate the people I grew up with. The picnic was fun also, still craving that chicken Mike !!
I have posted some pic's on my profile from the weekend, please take a look!
Looking forward to the next get-together...

Just found some old pics from the summer of 1979, when I came back and visited. Oldham, Helander, Merelli, Grant Schulz (I think) and myself. Nice find. Tulsa Summer 1979

Perhaps the most disturbing picture was of the 8-Track in the background (although Merelli stripping was not very pleasant ...).

Maybe those photos somehow explain Kin's sweater vest in 100 degree weather.

Jaimie,
Yea I was explaining to my wife that Kin was the same Kin we met at the hotel and was all decked out all weekend! lol
I too had the shivers with Merrelli's striptease (was that what he was doing?)
Kathy,
Great pics, but what was Bo doing in the "backup singers" pic. Looks like a little air guitar to me! lol
I have about 100 pics from Cheryl C to post when I get a minute or two(haha) anyone else?

OT: Saw a very good show tonight: YES and ASIA. Sadly, it was at the Muskogee Civic Center (?!?), and there were probably fewer than 1,000 people there. Huge amount of talent on that stage. If you like Progressive rock, and they are coming to a town near you, don't hesitate to buy a ticket. "Heart Of The Sunrise" was gorgeous.
