Good ole Coach McKenna!! His favorite thing to say to Holloway (Kelly) and I after lunch was...."Been out groovin girls?" Ha! What a trip....

Kevin,
Thanks for getting this together! I'm trying to look at a message sent by Blythe Waugh & can't open it. Is it because Eric & I have the same email address? If so, I can change his to his store's address. Thanks, Teri

Teri,
The same email may be the issue there. Change Eric's and let me know if that works. Pretty new site so might be a few bugs here and there....

Kevin,
Thanks to you and everyone else helping to put this reunion together. It's fun to see what everyone is up to these days. I WANT CHRIS ANDERSON'S JOB. As far as the location for the reunion, I have 2 words: Kroenert's Ranch (inside joke for a couple hundred of you out there). Looking forward to seeing everyone, especially the ones who get the joke.

Our reunion dates are now set for July 10-12. We'll post the specific information for activities soon but I wanted to give you the date so you can reserve the weekend! Hope to see everyone there.

Dear Lord,

As I go to bed tonight I have just one prayer. Please let the class of 1979 not look nearly as dorky as the class of 1976. I know you don't have much to work with in my regard, but I'm leaving it out there for ya! ;)

Amen

P.S. I have 100 pounds that's gotta go fast... I believe in Miracles, but do I use Miracle Whip for that?

P.P.S. I know I said one prayer, sorry for lying. I know you do the forgiveness thing, so thanks in advance for that one too!

Danise Bell (Cox)

John, sweetheart, you do know that 100 lbs back in '79 meant a little something different so depending on exactly 100 lbs of what you need to get rid of would possibly help some of us help you....haha....kidding hon.

Kevin,

Great job on the website!! I've spent this icy day in OKC looking at everyones info and have had a blast!! I even managed to get out my senior yearbook and take a trip down memory lane!!!

Thanks for all of your hard work!

Glad to help out, my pleasure!

Honestly, I'm having as much fun helping with this site as you all are...reading it! This is gonna be a great reunion!

I hope everyone that can will be a part of it! You will never be able to undo "not attending" the 30th reunion.

Check out the missing list! We can use any info you might have to contact them. the more that know , early on, the better!

Thanks.

Kevin

Sorry to throw cold water on things, but, well I have been "out of the loop" down here on the Gulf Coast for twenty five years and haven't kept up with much regarding '79, and was shocked to see how many of our classmates have passed on....What happened to them? Could someone "in the know" fill me in?
Thanks,
Christie

I too have gotten out my yearbook. I know there are still a lot of us that live in the Tulsa and Broken Arrow area. It will be great to see everyone again.

Heidi Olsen (Anderson)

Kim Bernheimer and I were just talking and, remembering that July in Tulsa is usually quite hot and humid, were wondering if anyone else would like to change the reunion to the fall. Maybe October? Also it seems that some people have conflicts with the date being right after the 4th of July.

Lisa Gregston (Borger)

I forwarded your separate comments about the reunion dates, Mike and Heidi, to everyone on the reunion committee to consider as we're finalizing the reunion plans. I know any date we choose won't work for everyone but I appreciate your input and I'll see what everyone has to say about it. Thanks!

Thanks for the website!

When we all start dancing at the reunion....why don't we have a "Singles only dance". I've been noticing a lot of singles in our class, and I would love to play matchmaker and hook a few people up!

Being a matchmaker is one of my favorite activities as well. Lots to do, lots to do....

Susan O'Steen (Allen)

O.K. Justine and Kathy, I think you should check out all the profiles, pick out your matches and then after the reunion you will find out how good of matchmaker's you are.
