Comments:

Attended University of Arkansas through December 1983, majoring in Marketing & Advertising. Went to work at an advertising firm as an assistant Media Buyer, before opening the Doubletree at Warren Place as a Catering & Sales Coordinator. Went to work a couple of years later for K95 & KCFO, and enjoyed that until I started teaching at a small christian school in Tulsa. Got married and moved to Grand Lake, working first at Shangri-La in Sales & Forecasting. Went to work for The Department of Human Services in November 1988 and have been there the last twenty three years. Currently I cover five counties in eastern Oklahoma recruiting & certifying foster care homes for individuals that have Developmental Disabilities. Was married 22 years and divorced since 2008. Just moved back to Tulsa October 2011 and am living in a small apartment off 51st & Harvard. Very much looking forward to more socializing with classmates!

Best School Memory:

Speaking only french in Monsieur Becknell's classes.

Art Classes with Carol Kiper...Chris Anderson & I had some pretty amazing conversations.

That senior trip to Europe with Carol Kiper, Vicki Faith & Susie Cohen...we did make some memories and still were not arrested.

Memorial's Baseball team ...6:30 AM practices for the "Big Blue Machine". COLD, Friday night football games with pizza at Shotgun Sam's afterwards.

Watching the most beautiful homecoming attendants ever & thinking..."I'm sure they will be just as gorgeous when we finally get old enough for our reunions".

Taking yearbook pictures....candid shots, sports shots, portraits...I was on yearbook staff and enjoyed photography so much...still do.

Accidentally blowing up Mr. Barnard's chemistry lab by pouring picric (not hydrochloric) into boiling water (why did they allow us to use those chemicals again?).

Painting and preparing art pieces for regional competitions (Kimberly Smiley & Jaimie Muehlhausen were the absolute best).

The 360's in Craig Willis' RX7...I'm sure the dashboard & door handle still have claw marks!

How moved I was when one of our classmates had been in a horrible wreck at 81st & Sheridan, was out of school for forever, but got to walk across the stage with us at the convention center for graduation.

I too, like so many have expressed have felt out of place during those school years, but isn't it funny how we grow up & truly become who we are, appreciating those who were part of our part? I know I have enjoyed seeing pictures and chatting with you....Now Riverfest is my Favorite High School Memory.
