HEY, so I just got a gig booked for the Thursday night before the reunion. But I need your support! I told the guy I could bring lots of people. I will be playing solo acoustic (if my guitar survives the airplane ride) on Thursday, July 9th from 8:00 to 11:00 (or so) at the Sunset Grill at 5800 South Lewis in the London Square shopping center. It's a non-smoking, restaurant/bar, so you can bring family too. I'm excited to have a place to play while I'm in town and hope to see as many of you as possible there. Any other musicians want to sit in?

Well Christie, i never have danced, and can't carry a tune in a bucket, but have been known to try both after a good buzz has started!!! :)

I'm looking forward to hearing you play!  Hope to see a lot of us'ns squinting and asking "what?"......

Just wanted to mention that Tom Kittell is going to sit in with me for at least part of the night...as much as he wants to really. So, I'm really happy about that...we'll be winging it the whole way through since we won't be able to rehearse, but I think we'll do just fine.

And THANKS to Tom for helping me get gear together for the show and personally checking out the venue, etc. Tom says the place isn't super gigantic so get there early (or help us close the place down late). We are going to have a blast and make some good music.

Just found out that the Sunset Grill just changed their policy and it's not a family/all ages place any more. So, you must be 21 and up to get in. I just know a few people mentioned bringing family, so please be aware of the new age change.

There could be a million other issues too...the guy running the place there is the least organized guy in town for sure, so I'll update if I find out anything else weird.
