Ahhhh ... gotcha! I'm a little slow on the uptake. But I'm there now.

Cocktails, moooo.

From this day on...rather than cocktails, I will refer to them as cowtails. And, yes...I do believe it's cowtail time.

Diane...things get a bit crazy on this thing. It's mostly Gary's fault. Ole Koz and his cattle fetish. I cannot drive past a cow without laughing my ass off these days.

This is definitely getting utterly crazy. I just might have to get in my Pontiac Bovineville and hoof it on down for one of those moo moo drinks made with Cowlua.

See what you started Cud-z ... I'm mean Koz.

In high school fast-pitch softball if a girl hits a foul ball, the team yells, "Hey cow that's a foul, mooove it over".

I think we should have T-shirts made up with all this "MOO" stuff on them!! To take the place of my old , holey t-shirt I still wear to sleep in with the horse dressed in a tuxedo standing up making a toast (not the bread, he!) with his back hooves crossed...it says "class of '79"...anyone else have that old shirt?? Anyway, I think these cow jokes are udderlly MOOlicious!! But Gary, dont you think my cows with the little five yr old herder are just as good if not better?! :)

Yep Lisa, I have that old T-shirt. Bought two of them just because they were cool. Definitely better than anything from that other school on 41st ;-) Unfortunately they don't fit me anyone, so I won't be wearing one next weekend.

Fourth of July weekend, perfect time to express our gratitude to those in our class who have served in the military and to all soldiers who have fought for our freedom. This poem is dedicated to those "young soldiers" who paid the ultimate sacrifice. It serves as a reminder that the kind of lives we lead can bring honor to their deaths.
"The young dead soldiers do not speak nevertheless they are heard in the still houses. Who has not heard them?
They have a silence that speaks for them at night and when the clock counts.
They say, we were young, we have died. Remember us.
They say, we have done what we could but until it is finished it is not done.
They say, we have given our lives but until it is finished no one can know what our lives gave.
They say, our deaths are not ours. They are yours. They will mean what you make them.
They say, whether our lives and our deaths were for peace and a new hope or for nothing we cannot say. It is you who must say this.
They say, we leave you our deaths. Give them their meaning. Give them an end to war and a true peace. Give them a victory that ends war and a peace afterwards. Give them their meaning.
We were young, they say. We have died. Remember us."

We have all been inspired in some way to change our world. On the eve of our 30yr reunion we take the time out of our busy lives to reflect and long for those glory days. "I would like to change the world but I don't know what to do...(Alvin Lee & Ten Years After)

I had a friend was a big baseball player
back in high school
He could throw that speedball by you
Make you look like a fool boy
Saw him the other night at this roadside bar
I was walking in, he was walking out
We went back inside sat down had a few drinks
but all he kept talking about was

Glory days well they'll pass you by
Glory days in the wink of a young girl's eye
Glory days, glory days

Well there's a girl that lives up the block
back in school she could turn all the boy's heads
Sometimes on a Friday I'll stop by
and have a few drinks after she put her kids to bed
Her and her husband Bobby well they split up
I guess it's two years gone by now
We just sit around talking about the old times,
she says when she feels like crying
she starts laughing thinking about

Glory days well they'll pass you by
Glory days in the wink of a young girl's eye
Glory days, glory days

Now I think I'm going down to the well tonight
and I'm going to drink till I get my fill
And I hope when I get old I don't sit around thinking about it
but I probably will
Yeah, just sitting back trying to recapture
a little of the glory of, well time slips away
and leaves you with nothing mister but
boring stories of glory days

Glory Days - Bruce Springsteen
