After graduation, 1979, my family moved to Magnolia Arkansas. Worked for Ethel Chemical Company. Attended Southern Arkansas University, SAU, for a year. Next summer moved back to Tulsa. Worked with Seimegraph Service Co. Great opportunity came up, 19, moved to Cayman Islands, worked on a dive boat: Cayman Diver. Diving there is incredible! Traveled the seas for a year. Returned to Magnolia, Ark. Did a bit of Roustabout work, pest control and future planning. 1982. Enlisted and entered US Air Force. Married, Boot Camp Lackland AFB, San Antonio, Texas; Tech School Lowry AFB, Denver Colorado; first Station Myrtle Beach AFB, Myrtle Beach, SC; 1985 Stationed in RAF Lakenheath. UK, England. (Contingencies were Libya, and Gulf) Traveled to 26 countries, Michael was born there, my Son. Learned about what real antiques were about, retured to the US in Austin, Texas 1991 to Berstrom AFB, Austin, Tx. Both Myrtle Beach and Berstrom bit the downsizing crunch and are no longer bases. Dec 1992, Honorable discharge, went back to school, transitioned to Air National Guard. Started Federal Contracting career with goverment in 1995, moved to Columbus, Ohio. Divorced, June 1998. Moved to New Castle, DE as Base Contracting Officer for the ANG. Worked there until March 2003 then transitioned to Army National Guard, Honolulu, Hi. Followed my dreams: To purchase a sailboat and sail the sea, enjoy life with great friends, dive, live and love life. Retired military 2006 completing a 20 year military career, Honorably. Traveled about for a few months afterward and found the Love of My Life, My Jamie. 2012 makes our 5th year anniversary. We traveled Europe, primarily Italy. Cruised the Med and had a great time in all the ports: Venich, Crotia, Athens, Sicilly, Sardinia, Rome, Livorna (Pisa and Florence) Monico and Barcelona. Awe Moments! Currently we live in Fort Worth, Tx. Working in Contracting with the US Army Corp of Engineers. Did I live, Did I Love and Did it Matter. Absolutely, Life is what we make it....
