Bob and I married in 1981, and finished attending Okla State and moved to Tulsa for 2 years. Was transferred to Chicago for 3 years. Was transferred back to Tulsa , where we started raising our daughters. Then Bob took a job in Houston, TX which we have been ever since (about 16 years.) Our girls loved the idea of going out of state for college and loved our connection with Okla State. They fell in love with the university and both are Chi Omega's together but my oldest is graduating in May of this year.(YEA!!!!!!)
We spent most of our married life raising our daughters, traveling all over with sports(swimming, volleyball) and we would do it all over. But we are empty nesters and are having a blast watching our daughters grow up and become beautiful women inside and out. We have been involved with the alumi of OSU in Houston and that has been rewarding.
Bob's job is very busy with the oil industry and my job is crazy!!!! I have been faux painting for about 12 years with the same partner. We have grown our business with just good work and word of mouth.. Everyone always asks us for cards or what our name of our company is and our answer is why change a good thing, if we get cards and a name it would probably jenks us, so we book people out about 2 months and always keep busy. Our biggest or most famous job will be in the next 2 months. We are going to Boston to do Joey Krammer (the drummer with Areo Smith)
I told my girls and they are so excited that my oldest wants to be our business manager! It should be an experience.
Well thats what I've been doing since we left Memorial High. We have raised 2 beautiful daughters and we have a great life. Bob and I have a saying about our life its this:
If this is the best it gets......Its pretty Damn Good!
God has blessed our life .
