Best School Memory:
"Best" is a stretch, but the one that stands out is the night after a football game in the school parking lot. Justine Eidt had taken off in my mom's red station wagon (with the awful wood paneling) and before she came back, everyone had left except for me. Mike Humphrey, who I don't think even knew me at the time, was kind enough to sit on the curb with me in the parking lot until Justine decided to FINALLY return. Thanks, Mike. You were very sweet. Oh, the family sedan. I guess when you're unlucky enough to only have a station wagon to drive around in, you make the best of it. Then there was the time we were bisquiting out of the back of the station wagon and Chris Burns nailed a sports car that I had the daunting task of trying to outrun, but that's another story.....
