Doesn't really have anything to do with 65, but he was born this day in 1931, and was inducted into the Hall of Fame the year we graduated 1979.  All the old jocks and sports nuts should immediately recognize him.

Wow, I didn't know Sam Kinison was buried in Tulsa.  His routine use to send me to the floor.  Guess one of these days I'll have to stop by his grave and show my respect by screaming at the top of my lungs.

I have not seen his gravesite  Here is what Wikpopedia says:

Kinison is interred with family members at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His grave marker gives his full name, the dates of birth and death, and an unattributed quote, "In another time and place he would have been called prophet."

P-38 Lighting.  When we were young a good friend of mine's dad who recently passed away, told us when he joined up for WWII they asked him what he wanted to fly.  He said "P-38s Sir!  Because they have two engines!"  Well they must of thought if he liked two engines so much, he'd like four even better cause they sent him to B-17 school.  Did matter, he just loved to fly.
